The Un-natural borders

This project explores the tension between human intervention and nature’s resilience. It captures the subtle, often unintended boundaries that arise when our built environment intersects with the natural world. These „un-natural borders“ manifest in spaces where nature is forced to adapt to our presence, while we, too, are shaped by its quiet persistence or even of ourselves.

Each photograph invites the viewer to reflect on the delicate balance we share with the world around us. This interaction—sometimes harmonious, sometimes strained—highlights an invisible thread linking us to nature, even as we impose structures that isolate or control it.

Through these images, the project seeks to evoke a sense of urgency and wonder about this connection, emphasizing that our relationship with nature is both fragile and enduring. By examining these overlooked or transient moments of coexistence, the work challenges us to reconsider how we might break down the boundaries we‘ve constructed and find new ways to live in harmony with the world that sustains us.
