Point.less
Point.less is a photographic project using the unknown result of an expired analog film.
The film rolls are more than 10 years expired and there is no certainty what will be developed. You can either lose all of the memories or you can be enriched with their worth. This realisation was crucial for creating this photography project.
The points in the picture give a foggy view of the images thus it gives us a valuable time when observing and realising what is on the print. How can time, expired film and ordinary objects create a notion of value?
Time is omnipresent and affects everything around us and nature. Pictures are artifacts of our environment and how we perceive them. We explore daily things every time differently. We do forget if we don't give them our attention. We forget as sometimes things around us simply expire, moulder or rot because of time change. Even though they might seem pointless they still belong to our world. And sometimes a seemingly pointless environment is not pointless at all.
What does our perspective look like on ordinary things when time is expiring? Is it maybe this kind of a thrill that the next film roll might be point.less anymore? I would even rather say I am trying to value environments that I want to value with others. Which is nowadays basically nature on its own.
